The Hartge H23 Story
It arrived at Sydney Wide European Autos on August 5 2006 as a wrecker. The vehicle wore some obvious scars of bad treatment from previous owners. A busted cooling system, nudged front and back, broken body kit, filthy interior and the usual E30 common rust spots and much more. Underneath the gunk and abuse, you could just see a beautiful gem screaming for a resurrection.
It had a never ending list of rare original Hartge parts that made it uniquely special. SWEA couldn’t help but work their overhauling techniques on this magnificent project. Together with the combined efforts and talent of experienced panel specialists, mechanics and an abundance supply of European car parts, SWEA transformed an otherwise dead E30 into arguably one of the best looking and rarest E30’s in Australia.
